Months ago, gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo chose Mayor Duffy as his running mate. Come November, if the Cuomo/Duffy ticket is elected, the mayor will vacate his office, leaving it up to City Council to determine how his seat will be filled.

City officials are holding four public meetings this week regarding the Rochester Bicycle Master Plan.

Erik Frisch, a transportation specialist for the city, says planners want to get an idea of what city cyclists need. They also want input on key destinations for cyclists and what on-street amenities are needed, he says. Those could include bike lanes and shared-use lane markings.
