How Backwards and Stupid is Our Mayor, City Council? NO BIKES ALLOWED!

from http://jayceland.com/

"Party in the Park: tonight starts at 5 p.m. and features Jimmy Cliff. The cost of entry is the confiscation of chairs, food, and drink (other than one purchased bottle of water or purchased food at the event) and "patrons are asked to leave their bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates and pets at home," so only car drivers are welcome."

2010 Party in the Park!

Party In The ParkSince 1997, the Party in the Park free concert series has brought thousands of music fans to downtown Rochester on Thursday evenings from 5 to 10 p.m.

This year, the dynamic series returns to the Riverside Festival Site at the corner of Exchange Boulevard and Court Street to accommodate the ever expanding crowds.

Please note: Patrons may not bring food or beverages (with the exception of one sealed bottle of water) into the concerts. For the comfort and safety of everyone, patrons are asked to leave their bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates and pets at home.

The City will again issue a "No Chairs" policy for the safety of patrons. Bleachers will be provided. No cameras or recording devices.
